The government on Saturday confirmed that no Bangladeshi died in Thursday's gas cylinder explosion at a Turkish restaurant in the Qatari capital of Doha. Bangladesh Embassy in Doha, however, confirmed that one Bangladeshi suffered minor injuries and he was released from hospital later, said a Foreign Ministry release on Saturday. The Embassy in Doha is in touch with the authorities concerned for further information regarding the accident, it said. At least 12 people, including two children, were killed and dozens of others wounded in the blast. — UNB
