A deadly snowstorm has swept New York’s Buffalo leaving seven people dead. A source at the ministry of foreign affairs of Bangladesh on Thursday said no Bangladeshi casualties reported from the snowstorm-hit county city Buffalo in New York and its adjoining areas. Although Bangladesh neighbourhood is about five miles away from the US snowstorm affected areas in New York, a source at the ministry confirmed that even no Bangladesh national was harmed. Around 2,000 Bangladeshis live in Buffalo, it said in a statement in the afternoon. The snowstorm since November 18 reportedly killed nine people, according to private TV channels.
