Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Tuesday denied a news report that the government added Tk 32.10 billion to the revised Annual Development Programme (ADP) for current fiscal year 2013-14. He said the revised outlay in the ADP remains unchanged at Tk 600 billion as decided by the National Economic Council (NEC). Muhith made the remarks prior to the official briefing of the day's ECNEC meeting at the NEC-2 in city's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. A national English daily Tuesday published a report that the government added Tk 32.10 billion to the revised ADP of the current fiscal year to make it Tk 632.10 billion, allocating the additional amount for the Padma bridge project. "The decision of the NEC is final" Muhith added, according to a news agency.
