JESSORE, Nov 27 (UNB): Opposition Leader Khaleda Zia, now leading a road march, on Sunday said there will be no election in the country without the deployment of army and the next national election has to be held under a non-party caretaker administration. Addressing a wayside gathering at Jessore Eidgah Maidan at noon, the BNP chairperson said neutral election cannot be held without the deployment of army. Khaleda said the next general election will definitely be held under a non-party caretaker government and demanded dissolution of the incumbent Election Commission. "Or else", she warned, "The ruling party has to exit early." It was her first wayside meeting on the second day of the caravan towards Khulna, led by her, that began from the capital on Saturday morning. The road march already covered Pabna, Kushtia and Jhenidah districts. Khaleda stayed overnight on Saturday at Jessore Circuit House and restarted the march to the port city of Khulna at 11:30 am. She alleged that they (ruling party) have brought EVM (electronic voting machine) to rig vote. Khaleda said the BNP-backed mayor candidate had won the Chittagong City Corporation elections as army was deployed in the polls. About non-stop borrowing by the government from the banking sector, the Opposition Leader feared that people's deposited money will be lost.
