No evildoer to be spared, warns PM

Asserting that she never pampers any misdeed, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday warned that her government will spare no one if found guilty of criminal activity. “My decision is crystal clear…no one will be spared if found involved in any criminal activity. I won’t see which party the criminals belong to …even if they belong to my party -- Awami League -- I won’t spare,” she warned. The Prime Minister said that she never pampered any misdeed and will never do it either in the future. “Many Jamaat-BNP terrorists are now there in the Awami League, Juba League and Bangladesh Chhatra League, changing their colours and identities. These people are now engaged in bloodletting and all sorts of misdeeds,” she added. Hasina was speaking at a civic reception organised at a hotel in Tokyo by Bangladeshi expatriates living in Japan, according to a news agency.
