No excessive use of pesticides, PM urges farmers

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday urged farmers not to use excessive pesticides in their croplands as those reduce the fertility of land alongside destroying the local species of fish in wetlands. The Prime Minister was distributing the Bangabandhu National Agriculture Award among 30 recipients at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, according to a news agency.
