No flood likely this month: Met Office
Sunday, 6 June 2010
The country is not likely to experience any flood during the current month (June), as the water flow in the major rivers (Brahmaputra and Padma basins) will remain 1-2 metres below the danger level, according to a Met Office long-term weather forecast. In its one-month climate outlook, the Meteorological Department, however, said there is a possibility of flash flood in the country's north-eastern region. — UNB
