No genocide in the name of movement: Amu

Amid BNP’s constant threats of launching a fierce movement, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Wednesday said the people of this country will not accept ‘genocide’ in the name of political movement. “Movement doesn’t mean killing people by setting fire to vehicles, murdering children in sleep, destroying national resources. People didn’t accept it in the past and wouldn’t do in the future either,” he added. He made the remark while addressing a discussion meeting organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote marking the National Mourning Day at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Auditorium in the capital, according to a news agency.
