No interference in hospital tender process: Nasim

KHULNA, Apr 26: Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said today political interference would not be allowed in the tender process in hospitals. "Tender process in all hospitals of the country would be completely transparent. I will not entertain any political intervention in this connection," he said while exchanging views with doctors and nurses at Sheikh Abu Naser Specialised Hospital here. The minister said doctors working in rural areas would not be transferred before three years. He said most of the 6,500 vacant posts of doctors would be filled up by next month. — BSS
