No job yet for 33rd BCS finalists
Friday, 20 June 2014
Although seven months have passed since the final results of 33rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exams were declared, the finalists have not yet been offered jobs.
The candidates are frustrated over the impasse. Some are saying they are in financial crisis, while others are saying they are going to surpass the minimum age for civil service appointment, according to a news agency.
The public administration ministry said posting for 33rd BCS was underway but would not specify a date.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) declared the final results for the 33rd BCS on Nov 21 last year, recommending 8,529 candidates to be appointed to various cadre services.
