No money received from Roni for train tickets: Shohoz

The authority of Shohoz Limited on Monday claimed that they did not receive any money from Mohiuddin Roni, a fourth-year student of Department of Theatre and Performance Studies at Dhaka University, for train tickets.
"No money from Roni's mobile wallet was transferred to Shohoz JV's account, rather the money was frozen in his mobile wallet," said Shohoz Ltd in a statement, clarifying its position on the matter. Roni tried to purchase four tickets through the e-ticket portal of Bangladesh Railway at 8:36 am on June 13.
"As he (Roni) did not have enough money in his MFS account, he cashed in Tk 3,000 in his MFS mobile wallet and he tried to pay the due amount of Tk 2,680 at 9:37 am," the statement said.
