No more sanctions ahead of next polls, says Shahriar Alam

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam has reiterated that there is no possibility of any punitive measures by any country against Bangladesh before the next national election, reports UNB.
"Not at all," he told reporters on Monday when his attention was drawn about media reports that suggest likely economic sanctions on Bangladesh.
Rulling out any such possibility of economic or trade sanctions, Shahriar said they do not know from where they got such thing.
