No possibility of cutting oil price, says Muhith

SYLHET: Finance Minister AMA Muhith here Friday said there is no possibility of slashing the price of fuel oil in Bangladesh although it nosedived in the international market.
He was replying to queries from journalists after inaugurating the repaired Presbyterian Church at Nayasarak in the city in the afternoon.
Muhith said the oil price is never set in Bangladesh keeping in pace with that on the international market. “We always sell oil at a cheaper price. But it sees a hike at times as per our capacity.” He also said the oil prices in the international market will soon mark a rise, according to a news agency.
