Wednesday, 2 July 2014

The government has decided to keep suspended all the public works, renovation and construction works on roads in the capital during the month of Ramadan, reports UNB.
Talking to reporters at Secretariat after an inter-ministerial meeting for easing the city's vexing traffic jam during the Ramadan, Communications Minister Obaidul Quader said it has been decided that DNCC, DSCC and DWASA will keep suspended all kinds of works on roads as well as filling up of holes on reads already created by the construction works to ease the traffic condition of the capital ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr.
The DNCC (Dhaka North City Corporation) and the DSCC (Dhaka South City Corporation) will take actions to remove the dustbins placed haphazardly on roads that have been causing traffic jam.
