Sunday, 24 August 2014
Law Minister Anisul Huq has said that there is no scope to revive Bangabandhu murder case as its trial is over. ‘The trial of the Bangabandhu killing has been completed. So, there’s no chance to revive the Bangabandhu murder case,’ the minister said while talking to reporters after attending a two-day conference on ‘South Asia and International Law-Engagement or Encounter’ as the chief guest at a city hotel. Anisul Huq also said Ziaur Rahman had been killed before the trial of Bangabandhu murder case. ‘So, there’s no scope to put his name in the case as an accused,’ according to UNB.
