No security of public life and property: Ershad

Monday, 8 December 2014

Worried at the growing incidents of murder and road crash, former military ruler HM Ershad Monday said now there is no guarantee of people’s natural death in the country, let alone the security of their property.
“‘Now there’s no security of public life and property, neither any guarantee whether one will be able to return home safe after day’s work outside,” he said.
Ershad, the chairman of Jatiya Party, came up with the remarks while addressing a commemorating meeting in memory of his party’s presidium member Jahangir Mohammad Adel at the party’s Banani office.
About murders and road accidents, Ershad said students in many areas of the country are returning home from their colleges and universities as dead bodies, according to a news agency.
