No tailback on Dhaka-Tangail highway

Despite movement of a large number of vehicles, the traffic remained normal in and around Chandra Trimore point on Dhaka-Tangail Highway in Gazipur district on Wednesday. Community police along with highway, traffic and district police continue to perform their role to keep traffic normal though there is a huge pressure of north and north-western-region bound vehicles on the important highway that saw a nearly 30-kilometre-long tailback a couple of days ago, according to a news agency.
