Sunday, 30 November 2008

CHITTAGONG, Nov 29: Home Adviser Maj Gen MA Matin Saturday said there is nothing to be worried about the security of Chittagong Seaport, as its security system is of international standard. The Adviser, who is also in-charge of the Shipping Ministry, said this while talking to reporters after his visit to the newly-built container terminal at the port Saturday afternoon. 'The security system here (Ctg port) is like that of those in our neighboring countries. So, I don't think there is any thing to be worried about,' he said. He, however, said the security system in the port would be upgraded in the future. — UNB
