Noakhali road accidents kill two children

NOAKHALI, July 22 (BSS): Two children were killed in two separate road accidents at Companiganj upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Md. Yasin, 7, son of Md. Wasim of Abdur Rashid Majhi's house under Ward no- 5 of Char Fakira union of the upazila, and Tamim, 8, son of Sahab Uddin of Zaker's house under Ward No- 3 of the union.
Tamim was struck by a battery-run auto-rickshaw while crossing the road in front of his house on Tuesday.
In a separate incident, Yasin was hit by an auto-rickshaw near his home while on his way to the madrasa. He was critically injured and taken to hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
