Nobody can harass journos if they publish authentic news

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Shafique Ahmed said, no one could harass a journalist if he publishes authentic and realistic news, according to a press release.
The Minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar on "Media (print and electronic) Laws of Bangladesh: Problems and Prospects and Freedom of Press and Contempt of Court Interface" organised by the Law Department of Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) at a city hotel recently.
Editor of Daily Sun Prof Dr Syed Anwar Hossain, NUB Treasurer M Abu Bakar Siddique, Registrar Prof Dr Md Nurul Islam were present as the special guests at the seminar.
NUB Law Faculty Dean Prof Dr AWM Abdul Huq chaired the seminar while Barrister Khondaker MS Kawser presented the key-note paper.
NUB Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M Shamsul Haque delivered the inaugural speech.
