Nokia contributes to chief adviser's relief fund

Nokia reinforced its commitment by handing over a cheque for Euros 50,000 to the chief adviser's relief fund, said a press release.
"We are deeply concerned about the current situation of the flood affected people and express the hope that our contribution can help lessen the distress of those in need." Nokia Emerging Asia General Manager Prem Chand, said.
When the need arises, Nokia makes charitable contributions in support of disaster relief efforts. It has assisted numerous communities globally including assisting Tsunami victims in Asia, supporting relief activites for Hurricane victims in the United States and victims of the Indonesian earthquake.
"Nokia is committed to the people of Bangladesh and will continue to work towards the betterment of their lives," said Prem.
