Nokia Siemens Networks Oy to expand Teletalk network

Nokia Siemens Networks Oy has been assigned to expand Teletalk network.
In this connection, an agreement was signed between Teletalk Bangladesh Limited and Nokia Siemens Networks.
Managing Director of Teletalk Md Mujibur Rahman and Head of Asia North Sub-region of Nokia Siemens Networks Oy Ricky Corker signed the deal in the city recently, said a press release.
Under the deal, Nokia Siemens would design, survey, supply, install, test and commission the GSM equipment worth US$26.77 million for countrywide network expansion programme of Teletalk.
Senior officials of Teletalk and Nokia Siemens were also present at the agreement signing ceremony.
The Teletalk will be able to add another 1.80 million subscribers after implementation of the project, the release added.
