Non-Bengalis stranded since 1971 to be rehabilitated in Keraniganj housing, JS told

The government has plans to construct 5,600 residential flats in Keraniganj of Dhaka for the rehabilitation of non-Bangalis living in Mohammadpur, in the so-called 'Bihari camps' of Dhaka, reports UNB.
State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sharif Ahmed said this in parliament on Tuesday in response to a tabled question from ruling party MP elected from Barishal Md. Shah E Alam.
The minister also said that there is a plan to gradually bring the marginalised people of poor communities under sustainable development in all the cities of the country.
