Non-resident Bangladeshi donates Tk 0.5m to AMCH

Abdul Aziz Chowdhury, a non-resident Bangladeshi, has donated Tk 0.5 million for the under-construction Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital (AMCH) in city's Uttara, reports BSS.
Aziz Chowdhury, a retired Winzon Public Librarian of Canadian Government, handed over a cheque for the amount of taka to Dhaka Ahsania Mission President Kazi Rafiqul Alam Wednesday.
A bed of the hospital will be named after his late mother Jebunnessa Khanam Chowdhury.
A 500-bed 13-storey world-class cancer hospital is being built at a cost of Tk 2.56 billion on three acres of land at Sector-10, Uttara in the city.
