Normalcy returns to Amin Jute Mills

CHITTAGONG, Aug 10 (BSS): The situation in Amin Jute Mills was normal today after Thursday's clashes between an unruly mob and police.
Deputy General Manager of the mills Aminur Rahman said a peaceful situation is prevailing in and around the mills. Production also resumed, he added.
Police and Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) were deployed in the mills area.
Meanwhile, police filed a case with Panchlaish police station against 22 arrested workers of the mills and 500 to 700 unidentified persons for their alleged involvement in the attack on police and in violence.
