Northern General Ins re-elects chair, vice chair

Engineer Abdul Matin and Mohammad Azam have been re-elected as the chairman and vice chairman of Northern General Insurance Company Limited at a meeting of the board of directors recently, according to a statement.
Abdul Matin is one of the sponsor directors of Northern General Insurance. He is involved in the business of textiles, medical services and insurance business. He is the chairman of Metropolitan Medical Centre Limited, Narsingdi Hatchery and Fisheries Limited, managing director of Modern Dying and Screen Printing Limited, proprietor of Modern Textile Mills and alternate director of Rupali Life Insurance Company Limited.
Mohammad Azam is one of the sponsor directors of the company. He is a renowned business personality of the country. He has a long experience in various field of businesses and involved in the business of shipping and trading sector, the statement added.
