Northern Ins chair, vice-chair re-elected

Mr SM Ayub Ali Chowdhury and Mr Md Sarwar Salim have been re elected Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively of Northern General Insurance Co Ltd recently. They were re elected unanimously at the 154th meeting of the board of directors, said a press release.
Mr Chowdhury is one of the sponsor directors of Northern General Insurance Co Ltd. As a prominent businessman of the country, he is involved in the business of manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and trading business. He is the Managing Director of City Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Chairman of Hi Fashion Limited, K 13 Knit Fashion Ltd and Fortune Fashion Ltd.
On the other hand, Mr Md Sarwar Salim is one of the sponsor directors of the company. He is a prominent personality in the banking sector having a long experience in multinational banks. He is involved in diverse area of business like manufacturing, international trading, property business. He is the Managing Director of Panwin Fashion Limited, Panwin Garments Limited, Panwin Design Limited and Pantax Accessories (Pvt) Limited.
