Northwest monsoon moderate to strong over North Bay

A monsoon low lies over the northwest Bay and adjoining area and it is likely to intensify and is moderate to strong elsewhere over the North Bay Friday, reports UNB.Squally weather may affect the maritime ports, said a Met Office bulletin Friday.
The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Mongla have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three repeat three.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
