Noted actor Khalil dies at 80

Noted actor Khalil Ullah Khan Khalil died of cardiac arrest at Square Hospital in the city on Sunday morning. He was 80. Khalil, a popular actor in television drama, theatre and cinema, breathed his last around 11:10am. Sources at the hospital said life time award winning actor Khalil had been admitted there on December 2. He was born on January 1, 1934. Beginning his acting career as a theatre activist, Khalil made his debut in Zahir Raihan’s film ‘Sonar Tara’, according to a news agency.
