Noted photographer Rashid Talukder passes away

Country's noted photojournalist Rashid Talukder is no more, reports BSS. He breathed his last following a brain hemorrhage at Square Hospital in the city at 6.30 pm Tuesday. Rashid, a senior photographer of the daily Ittefaq, was 72. He left behind a son, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. PM condoles death Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the death of renowned photojournalist Rashid Talukder. In a message of condolence, the PM said the country has lost a living witness to the country's movements before War of Liberation and post independence periods.
