Nothing else to assume in my transfer, says Tarana

Joining her new office, State Minister Tarana Halim says not too much should be read into her transfer from the telecoms to the information ministry.
She spoke to the media after taking charge as the state minister for information on Sunday, five days after the announcement of the cabinet reshuffle, reports bdnews24.com.
She spoke for around 16 minutes about the successes achieved by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications during her tenure there, but did not take any question on the ministry.
She said she thought Sheikh Hasina put trust in her and that was why the prime minister transferred her from one 'challenging' ministry to another.
"I don't think someone has the scope of assuming something else here. You can work everywhere if you want to do so," Tarana said.
Tarana lost posts and telecoms ministry when the prime minister shuffled her cabinet.
