Now bank to receive DV application fees

The US Embassy Consular Section will no longer accept Diversity Visa application fees on the interview date with effect from May 23. After that date, all Diversity Visa application fees must be deposited at Standard Chartered Bank's North Gulshan branch located at 189 Gulshan Avenue (North), Gulshan-2, Dhaka-1212 prior to the applicant's scheduled interview date. A release of the US embassy says the operating hours for the North Gulshan branch are Sunday through Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. DV applicants must present a Standard Chartered Bank issued DV receipt at their scheduled interview at the US embassy. — UNB
