Now Ershad writes to PM seeking dialogue
Talks with BDB tomorrow

As the Prime Minister (PM) has responded to the requests of political parties and alliances to engage in talks, Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad on Wednesday sent a letter to Sheikh Hasina seeking dialogue with her party over the upcoming general election, reports UNB.
Sunil Shuvo Roy, press and political secretary to JP Chairman HM Ershad, handed over the letter to the Prime Minister's Office around 12:15 pm.
Ershad, on behalf of United National Alliance (Shammilito Jatiya Jote), signed the letter, Sunil Shuvo Roy told the news agency.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday night invited Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) to join a dialogue at Ganobhaban on Friday evening.
Responding to the BDB President's letter to her, Sheikh Hasina sent a letter to B Chowdhury inviting his party to join the dialogue.
Awami League Publicity Affair Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud and party Cultural Affairs Secretary Ashim Kumar Ukil handed over the letter to B Chowdhury at his Baridhara residence.
In the letter, the PM said, "Take salam and greetings. Thank you for your letter dated October 30, 2018. My door is always open for discussions on all constitutional issues for the continuation of the democratic trend earned through immense struggles and sacrifices. So, I invite you (BDB leaders) to Ganobhaban on November 02 at 7:30 pm for discussions as per the time you sought."
