NRBC BANK SECURES HAT-TRICK CHAMPIONSHIP AT RAJSHAHI BANKERS' CLUB CRICKET TOURNAMENT
NRBC Bank clinched the championship title of the Rajshahi Bankers' Club Cricket Tournament for the third consecutive champion in a competitive final match. The bank defeated City Bank by 53 runs. Winning the toss, NRBC Bank opted to bat first and posted a total of 134 runs in the allotted 20 overs. In response, City Bank was all out for 81 runs, ensuring a convincing victory for NRBC Bank. Md. Mehedi Hasan Abir, an all-rounder from the NRBC Bank Rajshahi team, delivered an outstanding performance in the final by scoring 14 runs and claiming five wickets. His contribution earned him the Man of the Match award, while he also secured Man of the tournament trophy.
The trophy was formally handed over to Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, managing director & CEO of NRBC Bank, by Md.Amjad Hossain Khan, president of Bankers' Club Rajshahi and executive director (Grade-1) of Bangladesh Bank on Friday.
