NRBC Bank's donation for flood victims

NRBC Bank donated Tk 10 million under its Corporate Social Responsi-bility, along with donation from Directors and other donation equivalent to one-day salary of all levels of employees for the flood-affected people, says a press release.
Out of the amount, Tk 5.0 million has been donated to the Chief adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund and the remaining Tk 5.0 million will be distributed to the affected people through the branches and sub-branches of NRBC Bank in the flood-affected areas. This decision was taken by the Board of Directors.
Director and Chairman of Risk Management Commitee of the bank AKM Mostafizur Rahman, Director Loquit Ullah, and Managing Director (C.C.) Md. Rabiul Islam handed over a Pay Order for Tk 5.0 million to Subash Chandra Das, DMD of Sonali Bank, at Head office of Sonali Bank on Sunday.
Apart from this, food items and cash are being distributed among the affected people in various places of Feni, Comilla, Noakhali, Chattogram, Sylhet, and other districts.
Also, food items, medicines and water are being distributed to the flood affected areas with the personal donation of the directors and one day's salary of the employees.
