NSC dissolves 27 federations’ ad-hoc committees

The National Sports Council (NSC) on Saturday dissolved the existing ad-hoc committees of 27 national sports federations and associations, directing them to hold elections within the next three months, reports BSS.
The federations include Bangladesh
Kabaddi Federation, Bangladesh Tennis Federation, Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation, Bangladesh Chess Federation, Bangladesh Badminton Federation, Bangladesh Women's Sports Association, Bangladesh Cycling Federation, and Bangladesh Hockey Federation.
According to the NSC, the ad-hoc committees were dissolved because they failed to fulfil
their responsibility of conducting
elections and handing over authority to
elected committees within the stipulated period.
