NSU annual drama festival ends

A two-day 'Annual Drama 2014' arranged by The Cine & Drama Club of NSU (NSUCDC) ended Tuesday.
 Ramendu Majumder, president of International Theatre Institute (ITI), inaugurated the festival as the chief guest, while Prof Amin Sarkar, vice-chancellor of NSU, chaired the session. Mr Ragib Ali, chairman of BOT, NSU Trust, Prof ANM Meshquat Uddin, pro-vice chancellor of NSU and Dr M Emdadul Haq, club coordinator of NSU, spoke on the occasion.
On the concluding day, Prof Amin Sarkar, NSU vice-chancellor, attended the function as the chief guest, while Prof ANM Meshquat Uddin, pro-vice chancellor of NSU, presided over the session.
Celebrities like Dr Enamul Haque, chairman and academic director, The International Centre for Study of Bengal Art (ICSBA), Rokeya Prachi and Afzal Hossain were present at the festival and enjoyed a drama 'Midsummer Night's Dream' by William Shakespeare, performed by the students of the university.  Dr M Emdadul Haq, club coordinator of NSU, and Dilara Afroz Khan, faculty advisor of NSUCDC, were also present, says a press release.
