NSU celebrates Pahela Baishakh

North South University (NSU) celebrated Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla New Year, says a press release.
The celebrations began with a colorful rally around the campus, where students carried handmade multi-colored festoons, sculptures and art projects to welcome the day.
A formal inauguration was held after the really where MA Kashem, Azim Uddin Ahmed, Members of the BoT, Prof. G. U. Ahsan, Vice-Chancellor (IC), Brigadier Gen. (Retd) Mohammad Saber, Convener of the programme delivered brief speeches.
Nagarbaul James joined the NSU family to celebrate the festival of Boishakh and sang a remarkable set list in the occasion. The festival continued with folk cultural presentations, circus, cock fight, puppet show and many other ceremonies. A traditional fair was organised by NSU Sangskritik Sangathan.
