NSU, SKNF organise event on next generation leadership dev programme

With a view to promoting the physical and mental health of adolescents, the North South University (NSU) has organised the collaborative event on "Next Generation Leadership Development Programme" with Shorno Kishoree Network Foundation (SKNF) on the third day of the 4th National Convention of ongoing Shorno Kishoree campaign, according to a press release.
Among the four thousand five hundred and fifty-five unions of the country participating in the competition on the first and second days, 400 girls won the chance to participate in the programme held at the NSU auditorium on Wednesday.
As part of a co-operation agreement with the SKNF, NSU has given the opportunity to the best of the meritorious golden girls of the divisional schools to study at the university with 100 per cent scholarship.
Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque attended the event as the chief guest while Farzana Brownia, chairman of SKNF, was the special guest.
Prof Atiqul Islam, vice-chancellor of NSU, presided over the programme while Mohammad Shahjahan, chairman of BOT, delivered speeches.
