NU publishes degree exam results

The National University Friday published the results of the degree pass, subsidiary and certificate courses of the year 2006, a press release of the university said. According to the results, a total of 24,465 or 60.85 per cent have come out successful against 40,205 examinees. Out of the successful students, 15,084 passed the degree examinations, 1,924 passed subsidiary and 434 passed certificate courses. A total of 575 got first class in Bachelor of Arts (BA), 131 in Bachelor of Commerce and 77 in Bachelor of Social Science (BSS). — BSS
