NUB celebrates 5th founding anniversary

Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) took a festive look as its teachers and students celebrated the fifth founding anniversary of the university Thursday.
Marking the occasion, a daylong programme including the cake cutting ceremony and a grand rally was organised on the main campus of the varsity at Mohammadpur in the city.
Students of all campuses of the university, teachers, deans, department heads and officials attended the mirthful function.
Speaking at the inaugural session, Vice-Chancellor M Shamsul Haque reiterated his commitment to continuously providing quality education to students in the days ahead.
NUB treasurer M Abu Bakar Siddique, director of human resources division M Lutfor Rahman, director of education M Borhan Uddin, former chairman of Privatisation Commission Inam Ahmed Chowdhury and officials of the University Grants Commission (UGC) were also present at the function.
