NUB holds seminar on higher edn at Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Aug 29: Northern University of Bangladesh (NUB), Rajshahi campus organised a seminar Thursday titled "The higher education: the role of Northern University Bangladesh".
 Local MP Fazle Hossain Badsha attended the seminar as the chief guest held at Kaisar Rahman Auditorium in the city. Mr Badsha said private varsities should ensure quality higher education as those were not established for just handing over certificates to students.
Prof Shamsur Rahman, vice-chancellor of NUB chaired the seminar while Khulna campus in charge Dr Anowarul Karim was present as the special guest.
Among others, RU business studies faculty dean Prof Amzad Hossain, former dean of RU law faculty Prof AFM Mohsin, additional commissioner of Rajshahi metropolitan police (RMP) Sarder Tamiz Uddin Ahmed and Prof Zahurul Haque also spoke in the seminar.
