Nurani Accessories to set up $10.84m plant at Ctg EPZ

Nurani Accessories Limited, a Bangladeshi company, will set up a shoe accessories manufacturing plant in the Chittagong Export Processing Zone.
This wholly locally-owned company will invest 10.84 million US dollars in setting up their unit and will produce shoe accessories. The company will also create employment opportunities for 166 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Nurani Accessories at BEPZA Complex in the city Sunday.
BEPZA Member (Investment Promotion) Md Moyjuddin Ahmed and Nurani Accessories Managing Director Amanur Rahman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
BEPZA Executive Chairman Jamil Ahmed Khan, Member (Engineering) Jnan Ranjan Sil, General Manager (Investment Promotion) AZM Azizur Rahman, General Manager (Public Relations) Md Khorshed Alam and other BEPZA officials were present at the signing ceremony.
