Nurse killed in road accident

A nurse was killed in a road accident in Narayanganj city on Wednesday evening. The victim was identified as Nasima Akhter Baby, 35, a senior nurse of Narayanganj 300-Bed Hospital and wife of Hekmat Ali, a resident of Khanpur area in the city. Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Manzur Quader, quoting witnesses, said a bus hit a rickshaw carrying Nasima Akhterat in Charargop area around 5:00pm, leaving her dead on the spot. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, according to a news agency.
