Nurul Alam joins Energy Division as new secy

Md Nurul Alam has joined the Energy and Mineral Resources Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources as its new secretary.
Replacing Dr M Khairuzzaman Majumder, Alam, an officer of the 13th batch of BCS (Administration) cadre, took charge of the office on Monday, reports UNB.
Dr Khairuzzaman Majumder will take over as Finance Secretary. Earlier, the government transferred him from the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division arranged a simple ceremony on the occasion of getting its new secretary to celebrate both the bureaucrats.
Addressing the function, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid urged all to continue their efforts to maintain the current pace of development.
