NUS holds meet on World Health Day

A day-long meeting was held on the occasion of the World Health Day 2009 at Nari Unnayan Shakti's Banasree Head Office, said a press release Wednesday.
The main slogan of the day was: "Save lives, make hospitals safe in emergencies." Nari Unnayan Shakti (NUS) arranged the open discussion with the elite of the locality.
A seven-member team was formed in view of tackling any natural calamity by its 127 service centres.
Afroja Parvin, Executive Director of Nari Unnayan Shakti presided over the meeting and Dr Sultan Muhammad Razzak, Shaheda Wahab and Abdul Momin spoke on the occasion.
