FE Report
NYK Ship Management Pte. Ltd, a subsidiary of the NYK Shipping Line, inaugurated its Bangladesh office in Dhaka to open a new horizon to the maritime manpower sector in the country.
This is the first shipping company to set up an office in Bangladesh to have a unique opportunity to be employed directly by the owners, not through any third party agent.
NYK Ship Management is expecting to hire around 150 officers within the next two years for its different fleets.
Apart from this, NYK's own recruiting office is also expecting to recruit at least 10 cadets for its different kinds of vessels calling at all important ports across the world.
This was disclosed by the NYK Ship Management at a press conference held Monday at a city hotel.
The press conference was organised to mark the launching ceremony of Bangladesh Representative Office of the NYK Ship Management.
