Jim Bolger, special envoy to New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow (Sunday) on a two-day visit. An official at the Foreign Ministry said Jim Bolger, also a former Prime Minister of New Zealand, will seek Bangladesh’s support as New Zealand is a candidate for a non-permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council in 2015-2016. He is expected to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque during his stay in the city, and will discuss issues related to trades between the two countries. The UN Security Council consists of 15 members – five permanent and 10 non-permanent members, according to UNB.
