Obama's visit to New Delhi

Thursday, 4 November 2010

Kashmir and Palestine problems remain unsolved since 1947 and 1948 respectively. Meetings discussions and negotiations continue for decades but to no avail. Further US occupation of Afghanistan and US invasion of Iraq have made the world situation most complicated and dangerous. Israelis, Afghans, Iraqis, Americans, and nationals of NATO member states are being killed, wounded and maimed. At this juncture the US President Barak Obama is scheduled to visit India.
Today the USA, being the only world superpower, bears tremendous duties and moral responsibilities. We praise US efforts for the solution of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq problems. But we do not appreciate and accept the wastage of time and dilly dally tactics of Washington. Time and tide wait for none. We know the causes, pros and cons and circumstances as to why and how the World War I and World War II broke out and millions of people lost their lives. We do not know how far the visit to India of the US President Barak Obama will be successful.
On the eve of US President's visit to India we would request Barak Obama and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to kindly jointly invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas, Saudi King Abdullah Aziz, Etyptian President Hosne Mubarak, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Gilani, Afghan President Abdul Hamid Karzai and Bangladesh Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina to visit New Delhi to discuss and to find solutions of the outstanding issues consistent with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, for peace, justice, democracy, economic emancipation and welfare of billions of men, women and children living on this good earth.
It is time for action and not contemplation. All is well that ends well.
