Md Rahmat Ullah, a businessman, died on Saturday at the age of 78, says a statement.
Father of Mohammad Alamgir Hossain, editor of The Daily Moon and managing director of the advertising firm Admoon PR and Communications, Md Rahmat Ullah breathed his last at 4.45pm.
He left behind a host of relatives, including seven sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren, and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Family has requested all to seek blessings for the salvation of the departed soul of Rahmat Ullah.
